Xavier Expeditions is a leader among North American liberal arts institutions in offering immersive-learning experiences to extremely remote and ecologically sensitive places.

OUR MISSION is to inspire our students to be the change, to be men and women for others. We aim to realize this mission through:

  • Guiding students to places that highlight the realities of climate-change, species extinction and the powerful contributions of indigenous wisdom.

  • Challenging students to overcome taken-for-granted assumptions about human earth-relations in order to see, think, speak, and act within the context of Earth as our primary reality, teacher, healer and sense of the divine.

  • Empowering students to creatively seek and actively engage ecologically viable solutions and mutually enhancing life-ways.
